Jackson Purchase Energy Cooperative (JPEC) is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team. Ideal candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively plan, direct, and coordinate the design of outside plant facilities required for the efficient operation of the electric system.

• Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred. An associate degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years of applicable experience in electric utility industry required. Specialized training in electric utility systems design and operation preferred. Cooperative experience preferred.

• Flexible work schedule.

• Must be able to work in the US with a valid driver’s license.

• Must be enrolled and actively pursuing a degree in engineering (electric preferred) from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university.
