Jackson Purchase Energy offers several payment and billing options for your convenience.
Automatic Bank Drafting
You can arrange for your payment to be automatically deducted from your checking account each month. You will still receive a bill for usage; however, instead of sending a payment, your checking account will be debited automatically. The transfer of funds from your bank to Jackson Purchase Energy will be shown on your checking account statement and will serve as your receipt. The payment will not be drafted from your account until the due date. You can request a bank draft authorization agreement by contacting any member service representative by phone or email. Currently, we are offering a one-time bill credit of $10.00 if you sign up using your bank draft information and remain on the program for 12 consecutive months.
Automatic Credit/Debit Card Drafting
You can arrange for your payment to be automatically charged to your credit/debit card account each month. You will still receive a bill for usage; however, instead of sending a payment, your credit/debit card will be debited automatically. The transfer of funds from your credit/debit card to Jackson Purchase Energy will be shown on your statement and will serve as your receipt. The payment will not be charged to your credit/debit card until the due date. Call 1-855-386-9920 and follow the voice prompts to establish monthly automatic card payments.
The JPEC App allows you to do business from any Android or Apple device. You can manage your account, view and pay your bill, monitor your daily usage, report service issues and receive important JPEC notices including your bills and late notices … all in the palm of your hand!
Cash Payments Accepted at Several Locations
We accept cash payments at Dollar General, Family Dollar, CVS and Walgreen stores. To pay, scan the barcode located on the JPEC app or the second page of your paper bill and make a cash payment up to a maximum of $500.00. A service fee of $1.50 will be applied to each transaction.
24 Hour Kiosk
With our self-service kiosks, conveniently located at two central locations, you can pay when it’s convenient for you. The kiosk accepts cash, check or credit/debit card and provides real time posting to your account with an easy to use touch screen. Simply enter the phone number and service address of the account you wish to pay. Members can pay and be on their way. If you have any questions, please contact one of our member service representatives. The locations include: Banks Market – 2855 Lone Oak Rd. and Walmart (Southside location) – 3320 Irvin Cobb Dr.
Credit/Debit Card Payment by Phone
To make a one-time credit/debit card payment by phone, call 1-855-386-9920 and follow the voice prompts. The maximum amount that can be paid by credit/debit card through our automatic system is $600.00 per transaction. To process a payment for an account that has a balance over $600.00, you will need to make multiple transactions.

Payments may be made by mail anytime. Please include your payment stub and write the account number on your check.

Levelized billing constantly adjusts the monthly amount to better reflect actual use. Consumer-Members are eligible after twelve months of billing history. For more information, contact any member service representative.
