JPEC wins award.
Jackson Purchase Energy was recently presented an award from the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. The award recognized JPEC's hiring practices and the company's valuable contribution to providing employment opportunities to Kentuckians with disabilities.
"JPEC strives for diversity in its hiring practices and this award is recognition that we have been successful in our efforts," said Izell White, VP of Human Resources and Member Relations.
The award is presented annually to Kentucky companies.
Jackson Purchase Energy is regional electric distribution utility serving 29,000 member-owners is six counties of far western Kentucky.
