JPEC members will have the opportunity to learn more about the company they own. As a cooperative, each JPEC customer is a member with an equity position in the company. This equity position, gives JPEC members the right to have a say in how the company is operated.

Business at this year's event will include details on the financial position of the company, results from the Board of Director's Election and an update on JPEC's accomplishments in the last year by JPEC board members and JPEC President/CEO G. Kelly Nuckols.

In addition to the business portion of the meeting, scholarship recipients and youth tour participants will be introduced. Each year as part of JPEC's Power To Students Campaign, the company awards scholarships to area high school seniors and gives an opportunity for high school juniors to learn more about our government by traveling to Frankfort, KY and Washington, D.C.
