Jackson Purchase Energy Corporation Board Vacancy Filled

(Paducah, Ky.) September 23, 2013 - Jackson Purchase Energy Corporation (JPEC) announced that its board of directors has filled the District 4 vacancy which occurred following the resignation of Bobby Ross who served that district from June 1996 to November 2012.

Lori A. Thompson joined JPEC's board July 15, 2013.  A graduate of Graves County High School.  Thompson received a bachelor's degree in business Administration from Murray State University.  She works at the McCracken County Emergency Management Complex as Director of Clerical Services for the road, emergency management, and building and electrical inspection departments.  Thompson and her husband, Eric, have two daughters.

JPEC's board is comprised of eight business and community leaders who serve four-year terms.
