Jackson Purchase Energy offers a variety of additional services to our members.

24-Hour Emergency Service
Jackson Purchase Energy stands ready in the event of a power interruption.  A dispatcher is on duty from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.  From 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. an answering service relays messages to the line crew that is on call.

Medical Electric Alert
Jackson Purchase Energy’s medical alert system identifies member-owners with electrically-powered life-support equipment in their homes. To register, members must complete a medical alert form signed by their doctor, verifying the type of illness and the life support equipment that is used.

Underground Line Locations
Before breaking ground on a new project call Jackson Purchase Energy. Coming in contact with underground electric lines is extremely dangerous and could interrupt service for other members. Lines will be checked in the area in question and a JPEC field representative will visit the site at no charge to help locate and mark the buried lines. Please contact JPEC at least two days prior to needing lines located.
